Panos Panay is reportedly joining Amazon, Bloomberg reports. The former Windows and
surface收購surface chief announced his departure from Microsoft earlier today, and Bloomberg reports that he’s moving to Seattle’s other giant tech company to oversee Amazon’s vast hardware products.
Panay has been instrumental in the creation of
surface收購surface devices and much of their success and will no longer be presenting at Microsoft’s event on Thursday. He will remain at Microsoft for another couple of weeks as part of a transition process before joining Amazon.
Panay will be taking over from Dave Limp, Amazon’s outgoing hardware boss. Limp announced in August that he plans to leave in the next few months after a 13-year career at Amazon, leaving big shoes to fill. Amazon is also hosting a devices and services event on Wednesday, where Limp is expected to appear.
Panay will run Amazon’s division for its Alexa and Echo speakers, Bloomberg reports. It’s not clear what his job title will be, and both Amazon and Microsoft declined to comment on Bloomberg’s report.
In recent years, Amazon has been working on extending its footprint of hardware to robots and even home surveillance drones. Amazon is also in the process of acquiring Roomba robot vacuum maker iRobot for $1.7 billion. If the deal is approved by regulators, then Amazon will have a host of hardware, including Alexa devices, Ring doorbells, and Amazon’s other smart home products.

擁有超過1300萬訂閱的知名YouTuber Marques Brownlee發布了影片，盲測16款2020年的智慧型手機相機，沒想到蘋果新機 iPhone 12 Pro Max在第一輪就慘遭淘汰，而最後殺出血路的出乎意料的為華碩 ZenFone 7 Pro。
此次實測的手機為熱門的iPhone 12 Pro Max、Note 20 Ultra、Mate 40 Pro、小米 10 Ultra、Xperia 1 II ，除此之外也加入
surface收購surface Duo、Pixel 4a、Pixel 5、LG Wing ，由這些手機拍攝照片，並由網友選出效果較好的照片。

在經過激烈的廝殺後，華碩 ZenFone 7 Pro與小米 10 Ultra進入最終決賽，最後由華碩 ZenFone 7 Pro獲得冠軍，而蘋果 iPhone 12 Pro Max在第一輪就輸給OnePlus 8T，慘遭淘汰，而一向強調拍照系統強大的Pixel 5則是遇到華碩 ZenFone 7 Pro後落敗。
Marques Brownlee 分析，在照相功能上，大眾傾向挑選「較亮」的照片，因此手機內的白平衡十分重要，色彩的豐滿程度也會影響大眾的選擇，黯淡的照片比較不受歡迎。
